Vermont Green FC has announced that Virtue Field will host the first annual VT vs NH Adult Twin State Classic on Saturday June 24 at 4pm, just prior to the 7pm Vermont Green FC vs AC Connecticut USL League Two match.
The Adult Twin State Classic was created to foster interstate relationships and friendly competition between Vermont and New Hampshire adult soccer leagues. A team of peer-nominated New Hampshire based players will travel to Virtue Field to take on a side of peer-nominated players from Vermont’s own, Elite 8 Soccer League.
The teams will compete for what will soon become the coveted “Rusty Cup”, bragging rights, and the honor of keeping the cup in their home state for the year to come.
The VT vs NH Adult Twin State Classic is being hosted by the VSSA, The Elite 8 Soccer League, NH Soccer Association and Burlington Beer Co.
Come out to Virtue field at 4pm this Saturday to show your support for local players and the game we all love.
