Vermont Green Football Club is thrilled to announce that 2023 season tickets have surpassed 1,000 ahead of the 2023 USL League Two season. The club is extremely thankful for the overwhelming support of the team and mission in Vermont.
The Club’s inaugural campaign in 2022 boasted 379 season ticket holders. The average matchday attendance was over 1,400, and the club won six of its seven league matches at Virtue Field— much to the credit of the raucous support from Vermonters in the stands. After attendance increased at nearly every home game, the 2022 season finale was the club’s first official sellout of 2,500.
“We have infinite gratitude to our fans for their continued trust and support of the club. These numbers are among the best in the league, but they’re no surprise when you know this community and their passion for the sport, for environmental justice, and for getting together to celebrate Vermont. We cannot wait to make more history together at Virtue Field this summer” said Sam Glickman, co-founder.
Virtue Field’s total capacity is 2,500 and the Club may put a cap on season ticket sales in the near future.
