Yaniv Bazini Named to USL League Two June Team of the Month

USL League Two has named Vermont Green FC forward Yaniv Bazini to the Team of the Month for June, 2024. The recognition is for the best players across all 128 teams in USL League Two.

Yaniv Bazini had an incredible June, scoring nine goals for Vermont, and spending the month neck-and-neck at the top of the USL2 Golden Boot race. The striker currently has 11 USL2 goals in 774 minutes this season, good for second in the nation behind Western Mass Pioneers striker Alec Hughes. Bazini still has two games left to add to his tally, and games that he will be relied on to make an impact.

“I’m really honored to be in the team of the month out of 128 teams. There’s a lot of talented players and to have a great month means a lot to me and our team. Our job isn’t done yet so I’m excited to do more in these next two games,” said Bazini.

Vermont Green FC’s final regular season home match is this Wednesday, July 10th at 7pm against Boston Bolts. The regular season will be closed out on the road at Western Mass Pioneers in Ludlow, MA on July 13th.
