After a big 4-0 win on Wednesday night, Vermont Green FC will host Ligue1 Quebec Feminine club AS Blainville in the second Women’s Exhibition Match on Saturday night. Sam Mewis and co. will look to cap off Women’s Week with another win.

AS BLAINVILLE IN FOCUS
Association de Soccer de Blainville is a Canadian semi-professional club based in Blainville, Quebec, a suburb of Montreal. The club competes in Ligue1 Québec for both their women’s and men’s teams.
Blainville are the most successful club in the history of Ligue1 Quebec feminine, winning back-to-back-to-back titles from 2020 to 2022. They currently sit third in the table, with a 3-2-2 league record.
VERMONT’S EAGLES, SOARING
The goals were flying on Wednesday night as the Green defeated Flower City 4-0, and so were the club’s five Boston College stars, who all recorded a stat on the scoresheet. The presence of the BC Eagles made an impact from the very start, with Sophie Reale, Sophia Lowenberg, Ava McNeil, and Olivia Shippee starting the match. Reale opened the scoring, and Lowenberg’s now famous wonderstrike added a third goal for the Green. McNeil and substitute Georgina Clarke both tallied assists, and Olivia Shippee kept a clean sheet in goal.
If Sam Mewis’ Green are to be victorious again on Saturday, expect these five women to play a significant role.
