Vermont Green FC and Wasted* have announced a partnership that will bring innovative and sustainable portable toilet systems to all home matches at Virtue Field this season.
Wasted* is an eco-friendly portable toilet and waste management company located in Burlington, VT. Wasted* is on a mission to demonstrate the value of human byproducts and connect people to their local environment every time they need to go.
“We’re so excited to partner with Wasted* to have environmentally sustainable portable toilets at our matches,” said club co-founder Sam Glickman. “Now, even going to the bathroom at Vermont Green FC games can be a part of our growing sustainability initiatives. The 12 Wasted* portable toilets at Vermont Green FC games will collect human waste and process the bodily matter into natural fertilizers, recovering the rich nutrients that ordinarily go to waste. Wasted* are focused on upcycling human waste to create valuable byproducts. Their toilet innovation supports a circular economy.
Vermont Green FC’s Home Opener is this Friday, May 26 at 7:00pm! Season Tickets for the 2023 season are SOLD OUT – a total of 1,250 season ticket holders. Single match tickets are now on sale for all ten home matches at UVM’s Virtue Field.
