Vermont Green Football Club has announced a partnership with The Busyhead Project, a mental health initiative founded by Noah Kahan aimed at raising awareness, reducing stigma, and providing resources, specifically in rural communities. Noah Kahan and The Busyhead Project will sell a limited edition co-branded Vermont Green FC hemp cap and jersey, with 100% of proceeds donated to The Busyhead Project.
“Noah has been an exemplary representative of Vermont and a massive inspiration to our club, not only with his music, but through his important work addressing mental healthcare in rural communities with The Busyhead Project.” said Patrick Infurna, Vermont Green FC co-founder. “Environmental Justice includes advocacy for accessible healthcare for all, and this must include mental healthcare. We are extremely proud to support Noah and The Busyhead Project in their mission and to build partnerships here in Vermont.”
The co-branded Noah Kahan x Busyhead Project x Vermont Green FC merchandise will only be available at Noah Kahan’s Busyhead Project Benefit Concert in Essex Junction, VT on September 19th, 2024.
Named after his 2019 debut album, The Busyhead Project is a mental health initiative founded by Noah Kahan aimed at providing resources and information needed to end the stigma around mental health. Derived from his own life experiences, Kahan has been vocal about his mental health journey and challenges since a young age, remaining steadfast in his commitment to utilizing his platform to shed light on the topic and make mental healthcare accessible for all. Since launching in 2023, The Busyhead Project has already raised millions of dollars in pursuit of its ultimate goal to make mental healthcare accessible for all.
Vermont Green FC is a soccer club that kicked off its inaugural season in May 2022. The Club competes in USL League Two and plays home matches at Virtue Field in Burlington. The Club has embarked on an ambitious mission to embed environmental justice into its competitive strategy, operational processes, and culture.
