​​The United Soccer League announced that Vermont Green FC has been named the 2025 Organization of the Year, chosen amongst the league’s 144 clubs. The United Soccer League end-of-year awards honor exemplary clubs, front office executives, and staff from the 2025 season.

The United Soccer League recognized the Green for an undefeated National Championship season, finishing the regular season with a 11-0-3 record. The Green collected the Northeast Division title, Eastern Conference title, and ultimately won the league’s National Championship on August 2nd, 2025. Vermont Green FC boasted an average league attendance of over 2,500, and continued to make national and international headlines for its on-field success, and community-focused environmental justice mission. 

“We’re honored to accept the 2025 USL League Two Organization of the Year award,” said Vermont Green FC Co-Founder Sam Glickman. “This is a recognition of the people that make this club run and uphold its values. We’re grateful for the dedication and passion of our sporting staff, interns, matchday staff, volunteers, fans, and everyone who contributed to this unforgettable championship-winning season.”

The winners of the Organization, New Organization, and Executive of the Year awards were selected through a vote conducted by both clubs and league executives, recognizing achievements at both the operational and competitive levels. Coach of the Year was collectively decided by the USL League Two Sporting and Technical staff.
