Burlington, Vt., December 1, 2023 – Vermont Green Football Club has been recognized as the 2023 USL League Two Organization of the Year, chosen from the league’s 122 clubs across the US and Canada. The United Soccer League end-of-year awards honor exemplary clubs and front office executives that delivered for their communities over the past year.
The United Soccer League recognized the Green for a successful 10-3-1 record in the Northeast Division, and applauded the club’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions on its path to becoming a Net Zero club. Vermont Green FC boasted an average league attendance of over 2,200 in the 2023 season, the second highest in all of USL League Two.
