BURLINGTON, VT, June 13, 2024 – After announcing the inaugural Women’s Exhibition Match on May 7, Vermont Green FC brings the match to live television in partnership with WYCI-TV. It’s another first for Vermont Green FC in a season of firsts – after bringing the first men’s live, local soccer match to TV, this will be the first live, local women’s match. And WYCI and the Vermont Green FC livestream are the only ways to see the match – tickets are already sold out.

Airing on WYCI-TV and with promotional support from WCAX, the inaugural Women’s Exhibition Match kicks off at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024, from Virtue Field at the University of Vermont. As announced on June 7, the Green will be coached by World Cup Winner Sam Mewis, as they take on FC Laval of Ligue1 Quebec.
