Vermont Green Football Club and Ben & Jerry’s have announced the continuation of their partnership for the 2025 season. The partnership that began in the club’s inaugural season in 2022 will now enter its fourth season, with the two organizations collaborating to advance environmental justice initiatives in Vermont.
“Ben & Jerry’s are not only an iconic ice cream company, they are an inspiration for our young club’s environmental justice goals,” said Vermont Green FC co-founder Sam Glickman. “Whether it be through free ice cream at our matches, or their unwavering support for our mission to expand access to soccer in our community, Ben & Jerry’s have been an outstanding partner, and we are delighted to continue working together.”
As a representation of the two organization’s shared values, the world famous Ben & Jerry’s logo will be displayed prominently on the front of the club’s training tops for a fourth season. In addition, Ben & Jerry’s will be the presenting partner of Vermont Green FC’s community friendly match with Juba Star FC, and will again provide free ice cream for fans at every home match.
Founded in a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont, in 1978, Ben & Jerry’s believes that ice cream can be a force for positive change, one scoop at a time. Through values-led ingredient sourcing and inclusive movement-building, we’re working toward a future where everyone can thrive.
