To raise funds for the Vermont Immigration Legal Defense Fund, Vermont Green FC will raffle a signed, match-worn Sam Mewis USWNT kit this week.
The Vermont Immigration Legal Defense Fund works to support and expand legal resources available to organizations that protect asylum seekers, immigrants, and marginalized people facing deportation or detention.
Donate at least $5 and fill out this form to be entered to win. A winner will be selected on Sunday, June 22nd.
“Part of what makes the Vermont soccer community special is how people come together around the game for a bigger purpose.” said Head Coach Sam Mewis. “It is important to utilize this platform during Women’s Week to spotlight what’s going on in our country and point to an organization that is protecting a community under attack. I’m proud to raffle a game worn USWNT kit in support of the Vermont Immigration Legal Defense Fund, who are doing critical work to support our neighbors.”
