Vermont Green FC has released the training top for the 2026 season in partnership with Ben & Jerry’s. The tops are designed by club co-founder Matthew Wolff and produced by official kit partner PlayerLayer using 100% recycled material.
The top features a vibrant floral pattern reminiscent of the 2023 Wildflower Kit and displays logos from two Burlington-based organizations: the iconic mission-driven ice cream makers on the front, and 1% for the Planet on the back neckline.
PlayerLayer produces garments with a manufacturer that is a member of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, operating in state-of-the-art factories designed with climate change and environmental stewardship in mind. They use the Higg Index product tools to measure the environmental and social impacts of all products. Each kit is made from approximately 23 recycled plastic water bottles and is Global Recycling Standard certified.
