Vermont Green FC open their second season on a high note.
A goal from Federico Tellez just 6’ into the match set the tone in a 3-0 shutout of the Boston Bolts on a rainy Saturday at Alumni Field in Newton, MA.

The visitors controlled most of the first half and doubled the lead after Daniel Pacella earned a penalty kick at 42’. Nacho Lerech buried the PK to give the Green a 2-0 lead at the break.

The second half was more of a back-and-forth affair with neither team able to find the back of the net until Zach Zengue broke through in the 90th minute for the final tally.
