Hello again, Vermont Green fans!
This entire season, especially this magical playoff run, has been a dream for our club and community. When we started this club four years ago, we dreamt of moments like this. So to now be preparing to host the 2025 USL League Two Final is a testament to your amazing support.
So let us say, for the umpteenth time: thank you.
When we wrote to you a few weeks back, we addressed our matchdays and our future. This time, we want to give you a bit more transparency on how the ticketing process works, then tell you how a USL League Two Final might look different when compared to our typical matchday.

TICKETING
So, the big elephant in the room remains the same: there are way, way more people who want to attend the Final than there is space available in the stadium. We estimate that we could have filled a 15,000 seat stadium for the National Semifinal. Our data showed that 4,000 individual users attempted to buy tickets at 10:00:00am sharp for the Eastern Conference Final and National Semifinal, with an average ticket purchase quantity of 2.5 tickets.
Tickets to the Final will sell out in seconds, and thousands of fans will be left disappointed. That really sucks because we wish more than anything that you could all be there. We ask that you remain patient with us tomorrow and through this extraordinarily busy week.
Our ticketing platform, Vivenu, functions like any other software you’ve used to get tickets to a concert or event. As you click into the shop, add tickets to your cart, and proceed to checkout, it is first come, first served as users click the “details and pay” button. Being on the ticketing page before 10am will not increase your chances of securing a ticket.
The average ticket quantity purchased last week was 2.5 per user, and there were very few transactions of more than five tickets. For the Final, we’re lowering the ticket limit per user from 10 tickets to five.
We really appreciate the community’s patience with us on this. We built this club to be inclusive and accessible, so it is painful for us to hear about folks being left ticketless.
The silver lining? Your disappointment is the fuel that will energize us to work this offseason to expand Virtue Field’s seating, and eventually find a permanent home that can accommodate everyone.
NOTE: We are more than happy to promote watch parties all over the state (and country!). If your bar, restaurant, movie theater, or venue is showing the match, please reach out to [email protected] so we can publish a comprehensive watch party list.

MATCHDAY
The Final is going to have a slightly different feel to it. It’s possible you won’t notice a thing, but we want our fans to remember that this is a USL League Two event being operated in part by the league headquarters. There will be different signage, a different run of show, and additional requirements for things we do not typically do at our matches.
To account for more fans outside of our event, we will also take down signage behind the south end goal. This will allow more folks who can’t get tickets to be able to view the match. We will not be allowing any fans to congregate on the west side of the pitch behind the team benches. Fans can use the west side road to walk to the south end, but may not linger on the west side.
We ask that fans please respect University of Vermont property and avoid moving or altering materials outside of the stadium to create a vantage point. Please do not climb onto any sheds, shipping containers, pullup bars, or roofs around the grounds. We do not want anyone getting hurt. Remember that we are guests on UVM’s campus, and we want to be good ones.
At the conclusion of the match, the USL League Two commissioner will present both teams with awards. We will not allow fans onto the field until the conclusion of the trophy ceremony.

We could not be more excited for this match, and we feel so privileged to share this moment with the greatest fans in the country. Every single one of you has had a part to play in this journey. This incredibly special group of players—and the phenomenal coaching staff leading them—have put their heart and soul into getting us to this Final. No matter the outcome of the finale, this group will be forever in our hearts.
Let’s gather at Virtue Field on Saturday night to cheer our boys on to the ultimate prize. They deserve it, you deserve it, Vermont deserves it.
Up the Green.
